With reference to your letter (53531/46/38) of the

28th October last covering a copy of a despatch from the

Governor of Hong Kong regarding the case of Mrs. Vera Lock,

I am directed by Secretary Sir Samuel Hoare to enclose

herewith, for the information of Mr. Secretary Macdonald,

copies of a Metropolitan Police Report in this case.

I am to add that there is no objection so far as this

Department is concerned to the issue to Mrs. Lock of passport

facilities as proposed.
